Clare Bowen Young is enjoying the sunshine in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post, the Nashville star, who played Scarlett O'Conner on the hit show, looks incredible in a leoparding print bathing suit, posing on a boat with her husband, Brandon Young. "Aw you two!" commented one of her followers. How does the Aussie actress and singer stay mentally and physically fit? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.

Clare is an avid equestrian. "I've been riding since I was about three or four years old," she told Self. "When you're out riding, you could be anywhere. I could be back in Australia for all I know. So it's nice not to have a place or time for a while," continued, adding that "It feels rejuvenating."

Clare is a big fan of Chipotle. "I live on guacamole and salsa and chips with lime. And brown rice and sometimes black beans," she confessed to Self.

"I really like running. I've got a beautiful dog and we go for runs," Clare added to Self. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.

Clare confessed to Shorefire that her favorite workout is "strength training when I can." She also does the elliptical during her days at the gym.

"I think people feel better if they exercise. It seems odd because you wake up in the morning and you think, 'Oh, I can't get out of bed.' But then you start — it's especially best in the morning when it's a little bit chilly — you take a deep breath and feel refreshed. I feel cleansed," she told Self, adding that she sets time aside for her workouts. "You can't do these things rushed — it's like having a rushed massage. That's not fun at all. It's that time to just be able to go, alright, I just have this little bit that is just mine and I will go back and give the rest of my time to this wonderful job that I have."

Clare mixes in other fun workouts. "I really like kayaking, too. I live on a river at home in Australia, so we'll kayak everyday and swim. Climbing trees is really good exercise, too. People should do more of that. And hula hooping is pretty cool," she told Self.
